Supermassive Games has released a brand new trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me this Thursday (27th). Titled “Serial killer”, the video brings more details of the violent atmosphere of the new horror chapter and reinforces the consequences caused by the interactive decision system.
As they explore HH Holmes’ recreated mansion, amateur cameramen find themselves caught up in a game of hunting and predator. Constantly watched by a relentless stalker, the youngsters must escape traps, rescue survivors, and understand the mystery of the house. However, the risks of staying in such a place become more and more frequent.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, a new game from Supermassive’s horror anthology, will be released on November 18 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
The Devil in Me combines elements of horror classics
According to the first previews of The Devil in Me, the game embraces the reference. It aims to offer a breathtaking experience. It brings together elements of classic horror films. These involve movies such as “The Shining” and “Saw”, to present a brutal plot full of twists.
The Dark Pictures franchise already introduced three games – Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes. Therefore, The Devil in Me will reach consoles as the fourth entry of this game “Anthology”. As per the reports, the Anthology will bring a total of six titles.
